The above named company have been known to Huntingdon Mencap society since 1997.

Work carried out for the society has been at The Laurels, 5 Hall close Hartford, which was a domestic bungalow requiring many adaptations to meet the requirements of young people with profound and multiple disabilities. After the initial conversation, the company was then asked to convert the garage
there into a multi-sensory room which was in itself a specialised piece of work.

The company has recently completed a major project for the society whereby a disused funeral parlour and adjacent workshops have been converted to provide education and technical to adults with learning disabilities. Hunts construction were involved from the outset in the planning of the project and provided
invaluable assistance in obtaining the necessary planning permission.

The work was supervised by Mr .Des Thresh who had a good understanding of the requirements for the society and he ensured that the completed work was to the highest standard. His experience and advice could be wholly relied upon. It would seem that any subcontractors used by Hunts Construction were as
well supervised as the direct labour force.

I have been most impressed by your attention to detail in the matter such as the careful selection of matching reclaimed brickwork, tilling and the trouble you have gone to in order to blend the new in with the old to produce a seamless effect.

Under the direction of Des Thresh, Hunts Construction built a large garden room extension at the back of our house. It was not a straightforward project but at all stages including planning and construction I was impressed by the reliability, professionalism, trustworthiness, and dedication of Des and his team.

Completed a range of home renovation projects for our home on Stukeley Meadows.
